Taxidermy School
The school is split into two different classes, there is a two
week game head class and a two week life-size mammal
class. You can choose to take them both or just one. The
classes are kept small so the students get the attention
they need.
There are no VIDEOS in this class. It is an active,
hands-on class. All of the animals that you complete in the
classes are yours to take home.
In the game head class you will do two shoulder mount
animals, either deer or boars or one of each.
In the mammal class you will mount two small mammals as
well as the landscapes to fit your two mammals. The
classes are held Monday through Friday for most of the
day. The weekends are yours to do what you wish. The
cost of the class will include housing with a laundry room
and kitchen, if you choose to stay at the school. The cost
will also include a starter kit including a hobby knife,
measuring device, set of ear liners, fleshing horn, fleshing
ball, eye tucker,notebook, supply magazine, t-shirt, a
diploma, and your two mounts. When you leave the class
you will have the confidence to produce a professional
mount with the newest techniques in the world of taxidermy.
