Two week Game Head class $2,500.00
All specimens are provided by
you, or we can provide them at
market price. All other supplies are
included.
Week 1
Day 1-2: Learn to measure for and order mannequins and
eyes, cape the head, split the eyes,nose, lips and ears,
rough flesh and start the tanning process.
Day 3-4: Mannequin preparation, including nose and lip
prep., practice eye set, prepare antlers for mount. Learn
tools, supplies and suppliers and legal information
necessary to work as a taxidermist.
Day 5: Work with fleshing machine, and hand flesh face of
first animal.
Week 2
Day 6: Fleshing second animal and sewing first animal.
Day 7: Finish sewing, test fit on mannequin, dry, and set
ears.
Day 8: Install antlers and sew hide on mannequin on first
animal.
Day 9: Set hide on second animal
Day 10: Learn finish detail work including painting.
Two week mammal class $2,800.00

Week 1
Day 1-2: Learn to measure for mannequin and eye orders;
skin the entire animal, split eyes, nose, ears, lips, tail and
feet and begin tanning process.
Day 3-4: Mannequin prep including set eyes, prep. nose,
lips and armpits, make initial mannequin alterations and
build landscapes for mammals
Day 5: Flesh first animal on fleshing machine, and flesh the
face by hand.
Week 2
Day 6-7: Fesh second animal and sew both animals.
Day 8:Test fit on mannequins and set ears, alter
mannequins as needed
Day 9: Sew first animal on mannequin
Day 10: Sew second animal on mannequin and learn finish
detail work and paint the animals.
