Guided Gator Hunts
by Bad to the Bone Taxidermy
Florida alligator hunting hours begin 1 hour before sunset and end one
hour after sunrise.
We offer motorboat hunts which include one or two guides and may
include up to 2 hunters (or 1 hunter and one observer).
We also offer airboat hunts which include two guides and one hunter.
Gigging frogs may be possible during the hunt, if the opportunity arises.
Our guided hunts include:
* transportation to and from hunting site
* trapping agent license and Alligator tag
* all equipment necessary to harvest a reptile (crossbow, harpoon,
bang stick, ammunition, casting pole, snatch hooks, gaf, headlamp,
and bait set-ups when available)
* cold beverages
* use of large cooler for transportation of whole reptile
* cleaning and skinning reptile
What you need to bring:
* insect repellant
* rain gear
* clear eye protection, recommended
* dark-colored clothing
* snack food (fast food usually available during travel time)
* MUST HAVE: underwater flashlight, and mask and snorkel, just in
case you have to go after a wounded alligator, the guide will remain
with the boat attached to your tether, at all times for your safety. LOL
